To easily get DX10 cockpit shadows in any aircraft (it should work for FS9 legacy aircraft) see - it's Steve's own site and has a lot of interesting info about DX10 in FSX. enb series Flight Simulator REALISTIC SKIATHOS X 2014. I have my framerate locked at 30 FPS and I rarely see less than 20 even at complex airports - most of the time it sits around 29/30 FPS. I have yet to see a graphics problem whilst using DX10 with the Fixer. Ignore any graphics glitches you may see, Steve's Fixer sorts out about 99% of them. Many of us are using two or three monitors but we can use ENBSeries and FSX only with one monitor, otherwise we get black stripes in the main monitor. Before you buy Steve's Fixer (highly recommended) you should fly around in the DX10 preview mode for a while just to make sure that it works with your graphics card and you get reasonable performance - most people see an improvement over DX9.
